If you are visiting Canada for business purposes only, you do not need a visa if your stay is short-term, but if you plan to stay longer than six months, you will need to apply for a temporary resident visa. Canada Visa Application Costs
If you are a national of Canada and want to visit or work in the country, you will need a visa. The visa application process is straightforward but can be expensive depending on your nationality.
There are three types of visas that can be obtained through Canada’s immigration system: tourist, temporary worker and permanent resident. All three visas have different application requirements and costs.
To apply for a tourist visa, you will need to provide evidence that you are travelling to Canada for pleasure and not for business or employment purposes. The visa fee is $60 CAD.
