What is an Indian Visa?
If you are a Japanese citizen and want to visit India for leisure or business purposes, you need to obtain an Indian visa. The Indian visa application process is quite simple and can be completed online. If you are a Latvian citizen and wish to visit India for holidays or work, you will need to apply for an Indian visa through the Latvian embassy in your home country. Types of Indian Visas
There are three types of Indian visas for Japanese citizens: tourist, business, and employment. For Latvian citizens, the three types of visas are same as for Japanese citizens except for the employment visa.
To apply for an Indian visa, you need to visit a Indian embassy or consulate in Japan or Latvia. The application process is quite simple. You will need to provide your passport information, some documents supporting your reason for visiting India (if applicable), and your hotel reservation confirmation or ticket. How to Apply for an Indian Visa
There are different types of Indian visas that can be applied for by Japanese citizens and Latvian citizens. The most common Indian visa is the tourist visa, which allows travelers to stay in India for a period of time for tourism or business purposes. Other types of Indian visas include the business visa, which allows people to work in India, and the student visa, which allows students to study in India.

After they have received confirmation from their embassy or consulate about the application process and requirements, they can begin filling out the online application form with these same details. Both Japanese citizens and Latvian citizens must pay a processing fee when applying for an Indian visa. The fee varies depending on the type of visa being applied for – tourist visas cost ¥1150 while business visas cost ¥2750 and student visas cost ¥2100. Once all required information has been submitted and paid for, applicants will be sent an email notification regarding their application status.

Why do Japanese Citizens Need a Different Visa than Latvian Citizens?
There are a few main reasons why Japanese citizens need a different visa than Latvian citizens. The first reason is that Japan has an immigration policy that is focused on attracting foreign workers. Latvia does not have such a policy, and as a result, Latvian citizens are not allowed to work in Japan without a proper visa.
The second reason is that the Japanese government requires all visitors to have a visa if they are not from one of the countries who have a bilateral visa agreement with Japan. Latvia does not have this requirement, so Latvian citizens can visit Japan without a visa.
The third reason is that the Japanese government requires all visitors to carry their passport with them at all times while in Japan. This is not required for Latvian citizens, who can travel to Japan without carrying their passport.
