When it comes to traveling abroad, one of the most misunderstood topics is passports and visas. Passports make your country a “port of entry” into another country, while visas allow you to stay there longer than your passport’s validity will allow.
Turkey Visa Information
If you are a citizen of Afghanistan or Bangladesh, and you want to visit Turkey, you will need to obtain a visa. The process of obtaining a visa is simple and can be done either in Turkey or at the Turkish embassy in your home country. Turkey Visa for Afghan Citizens
To apply for a Turkish visa, you will need to provide evidence that you have sufficient funds to cover your stay in Turkey and that you will not be burdening the country’s resources. Additionally, you will need to provide documentation proving your identity and citizenship. If you are travelling with children, they must also have valid travel documents.
Once you have obtained your visa, make sure to bring all of the required documentation with you when travelling to Turkey. This includes your passport photo, your visa application form, proof of financial solvency, and any other required documents. Turkey Visa for Bangladesh Citizens
If you are a citizen of Bangladesh, you may be able to visit Turkey visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180 day period. Afghanistan citizens who hold a valid passport and a visa which is not more than six months from the date of entry into Turkey can also visit Turkey visa-free for up to 30 days. The Turkish government has announced that starting from February 15, 2020, all Afghan citizens will require a visa prior to travel to Turkey. Applicants must apply for the Turkish visa online through the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs website or at one of the Turkish diplomatic missions in your country of residence. Applicants must provide their passport information, including their name and date of birth, as well as photographs. The application process may take up to two weeks to complete. Afghan citizens living in border cities such as Istanbul and Antalya are exempt from this requirement and can travel to Turkey without a visa.
Turkey Visa for Afghan Citizens
Afghanistan is one of the most popular countries for Turkish citizens to visit, with over two million people visiting Turkey every year.
To obtain a visa to travel to Turkey, you will need a passport that is valid for at least six months after your planned departure from Turkey. Additionally, you will need to present a valid passport-type photo, a completed visa application form, and the appropriate fees.
If you are traveling as part of a group of three or more people, each member of your group must have their own valid passport and visa. If you are traveling as part of a group of fewer than three people, no additional documents are required.
There is no tourist visa available for citizens of Bangladesh.
