What is the Turkey Visa?

If you’re a citizen of Haiti and you’re travelling to Turkey for tourism, business, or medical reasons, you can now enter Turkey with a day visa on arrival. This new policy was announced by the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on March 18th, 2016. Previously, Haitian citizens had to obtain a multiple-entry tourist visa before travelling to Turkey.

This change is good news for tourists from Haiti because it means that the process of obtaining a Turkish visa is considerably easier and faster. Previously, Haitian visitors had to go through an immigration checkpoint at the airport and submit their passports for inspection. Now, all they need is a valid passport and a valid Turkish visa.

To get a Turkish day visa on arrival, simply arrive in Turkey with your valid passport and travel visa (if required). You won’t need to go through any immigration checkpoints – just show your passport to the immigration officer at the airport when you arrive and he will issue you a day visa.

How to Get a Turkish Visa?

If you are a citizen of Haiti and you want to visit Turkey, now you can do it with just a day visa on arrival! This was made possible by the recent diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Requirements for obtaining a Turkish day visa on arrival are as follows: Turkey Visa for Haiti Citizens

-You must have a valid passport from your home country

Requirements for a Turkish Visa

With the new visa rules that came into effect on 1 January 2016, Turkish nationals can now enter Turkey with a day visa on arrival. This means that you do not need to have a visa if you are travelling to Turkey for a day or less.

To get this visa, you must present your passport and a valid flight ticket to Turkey. If you are coming to Turkey as part of a tour group, make sure that the company you are travelling with has arranged your travel visas in advance.

If you are travelling to Turkey for other reasons (for example, for work), you will need to apply for a tourist visa at the Turkish embassy or consulate in your home country. The application process can take up to several weeks, so be prepared for delays if flying into Istanbul from abroad.

Once you have arrived in Turkey and obtained your visa, it is important to ensure that you carry all of the necessary documents with you when arriving in Turkey. These documents include your passport photo, copy of your passport information page, proof of onward travel (if required), and hotel reservation confirmation (if staying in an accommodation).

How to Use a Turkish Visa

If you are a citizen of Haiti and you want to visit Turkey, you can now enter the country with a day visa on arrival. This new policy is effective from June 1st 2016. Before this date, citizens of Haiti had to obtain a visa prior to their travel to Turkey.

The visa on arrival process is straightforward. You will need to show your passport, airline ticket and hotel reservation confirmation at the Turkish consulate or border control when you arrive in Turkey. If all of these pieces of information are correct, the consulate or border control will stamp your passport with a day visa and send you on your way. The visa entitles you to stay in Turkey for up to 30 days.

To use this new policy, it is important that you plan your trip carefully. Make sure that you have enough money saved up so that you do not have to resort to using expensive credit cards while in Turkey. Also, make sure that you book your flights and hotels well in advance so that there is no chance of them being cancelled due to low occupancy rates. Finally, be sure to bring any required visas with you when travelling to Turkey – such as a Schengen visa if you are travelling within the EU – as not all consulates accept electronic applications for visas.
